Kindergarten Distinctives

Kindergarten is new for your child. New friends, new expectations, new experiences. We understand the importance of cultivating an environment that encourages your child to blossom into a confident learner.

Biblically Rooted Approach

Teachers and staff know and pray for each of our kindergartners. Our families deeply appreciate the biblical integrations and Christ-centered environment where children are engaged in both mind and heart. Students memorize scripture regularly as part of their overall curriculum and begin each day with chapel.

Outdoor Learning

Our campus is located in rural Guilford County, which allows us to open the doors to nature. Nature walks, outdoor classrooms, treehouse reading, gaga ball, and student-made stick forts are all part of a child’s experience at Harvest.

Small Class Sizes

Teachers offer valuable attention to students individually because of our optimal class size. The average student to teacher ratio is 14:1 and each Kindergarten class has a full-time designated teacher’s assistant.

What Parents Are Saying

“Kindergarten at Harvest Academy has been everything we wanted and more. Within weeks, our kindergartener had a firm grasp on letter sounds, reading simple words and enjoying every bit of it. Science and history is age-appropriate and always points directly to our divine, omnipotent, great God. The home day work is extremely manageable and it has been an incredible blessing to have such a sweet time with my kindergartener during our home days supplementing what he has learned at school. We are so thankful for the kind, generous, loving teachers at Harvest for what they pour into our kids every day!”
