Not-quite Kindergarten, our Little Lions program is a beautiful blend of academic, developmental, and social learning. Our youngest Lions are just being introduced to discovering the world God has created.
Children will focus on their cognitive skills, social and emotional development, and their fine/gross motor skills through outdoor play, music, stories, art and more.
Little Lions have ample opportunities to develop peer-to-peer communication skills, begin the journey of memorizing God’s Word along with poetry, and are exposed to letter sounds, recognition, and formation. Basic math skills are also introduced.

Ages: PreK (4 ½ - 5 ½)
Schedule: M,W,Th 8:30-12:30 (optional Tu and 3:30p extended day elective)
Small Class Sizes
PreK Teachers offer a safe and joyous learning environment valuable attention to students individually because of our optimal class size. The average student to teacher ratio is 8:1.
Outdoor Learning
Our campus is located in northern Guilford County on over 15 acres, which allows us to open the doors to nature. Little Lions enjoy a separate playground from the rest of the Lower School, designed to provide the space needed for each student to grow and develop as God planned.
Biblically Rooted Approach
Teachers and staff know and pray for each of our kindergartners. Our families deeply appreciate the biblical integrations and Christ-centered environment where children are engaged in both mind and heart. Students begin the life-long journey of memorizing scripture, incorporating a God-centered approach to everything in the classroom.
