Frequently Asked Questions

What days will my child go to school and how long will the day be?

Students are On-Campus Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30am to 3:15pm.  Tuesday and Friday are School@Home days.

Will my child need to wear a uniform?

Yes, uniforms are intended to reduce the stress that kids (and parents!) feel when faced with a myriad of clothing options. Uniforms also preserve an atmosphere of intentional learning, where students are serious about their tasks. A wide variety of vendors are available for purchasing everyday uniforms.

What type of curriculum can we expect to use?

Curriculum choices are made to reflect our Classical, Christian standards and to provide easy access to teaching within the University-Model®. Examples of some curriculum are:

  • Saxon Math

  • All About Reading and Spelling

  • Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW)

  • Apologia and Memoria Press

  • Bede’s History

Will there be training for Co-Teachers?

Yes, one week is set aside before the start of the school year for in-person Harvest [Parent] Academy, on curriculum and University-Model® logistics.

Will there be extracurricular classes available?

Yes, we currently offer Music, Art, Spanish, and P.E. as our specials. Students will have one or more of these each day they are on-campus.
